Regina Kyle knew she was destined to be an author when she won a writing contest at age 10 with a touching tale about a squirrel and a nut pie. By day, she writes dry legal briefs, representing the state in criminal appeals. At night, she writes steamy romance with heart and humor. She is a three-peat winner of the Booksellers’ Best award: in 2016 for Triple Dare, 2018 for The Billionaire in Her Bed, and 2020 for Dirty Work.

A lover of all things theatrical, Regina lives on the Connecticut coast with her husband and two highly destructive cats, one with an unfortunate (read: profane) nickname. When she’s not writing, she’s most likely singing, reading, cooking, rooting for her beloved Pittsburgh Penguins, or watching Red, White and Royal Blue for the two millionth time.

I’m a HUGE theater geek and have performed in over 100 school and community theater productions. Some of my favorite roles include Rosie in Mamma Mia, Calliope in Xanadu, Martha in White Christmas, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods.

My muse for Nick, the hero of Triple Threat, is the yummy Joe Manganiello of True Blood and Magic Mike fame. I was lucky enough to meet him after a performance of A Streetcar Named Desire. And yes, ladies, he took his shirt off during the show. And yes, it was worth every penny I paid to see it.

Our boat, Casting Call

My hubby and I are avid boaters. Well, him a little more avid than me. But I do love cruising Long Island Sound on our power boat, the Casting Call. And he's converted my daughter into quite the sailor. They love going out on our sailboat, the Happy Pill.
